If you can't beat 'em, buy 'em!

First Webb takes the orange lucre for 2015 (RPM/KTM satellite team) and now Colton Haaker is reported by Offroadchampions.com to have signed with Husqvarna. With Taddy likely not coming back to the US next year, I guess that means Taylor Robert will have to ... oh wait, he's on orange as well.

That leaves Gerston (5th on the season) as the first non-Austrian contender :x

Honda did this in road racing and mx years ago, I think at some point it back fires. It does say allot when a small company building out a fraction of what the competition sells can build a bike from scratch and put it at the top of the heap in a vary short time.

Beta has made some really smart decisions with models and marketing , they rely on putting out high quality bikes, while not crapping on there dealers.

OK, so Danny McCanney was only a Beta guy for a year (World Champ while he was at it though) but he's been poached by Husqvarna for 2015 as well. :x :x

Can't blame the riders as most have a relatively short career, but sometimes it clears the way for another talented rider to get a quality ride. I doubt that Beta will ever be in the position to buy championships (at least in my lifetime), but I think when they do win as in Cody's case - the better for the small manufacturer. Winning sells, or so it seems. JMHO
