I'm running a 3-2M metering rod on my Xtrainer, as suggested by Lectron when I ordered it.

It took me a few tries to get it dialed in. The Lectron is sensitive to changes in fuel type, premix ratio, and perhaps oil type. I find that a bit ironic, as once it's set up it's pretty much insensitive to changes in elevation, temperature, and weather. At least compared to traditional jetted carbs anyway.

I'm currently running mine with 91 octane ethanol-free mixed 50:1 with Amsoil Interceptor. If I'm somewhere where E10 gas is all that's available I have to richen the metering rod 1/4 to 1/2 turn to get similar performance. Same for running 40:1 instead of 50:1.

The Lectron is so easy to tune though it's almost silly. No mains, pilots, air screws, or clips etc. Just one threaded metering rod to turn in or out in 1/4 turn increments.
