I first removed the plastic wire bracket. Then cut away the entire bottom and enlarge the hole to the top triple tree. I greased and taped all the wire ends. Zip them together and also zip the wires to a hole in the bottom bracket. I removed the top computer mounts because I could never get a good viewing angle. Zip the computer through the top Mount holes. Finally make a spacer about .7 on an inch. Here are my picks. It has lasted two seasons of racing. Darn my picks are to large I just took on my phone.send me an email and I will send them to you. Bassmansr800@gmail.com

i'm going to try mounting the computer in a bar pad this season. no clue if i will get it to work but i would like it to sit right above the bar clamp protected in some foam.

I'll take some pics of the bracket I made. Spaces the number plate out, computer tucks behind plate completely.

On a side note, I see the '14 + number plate looks the same as a '13. When I swapped a '14 fender, I found the number plate did not fit as well due to the lower corners hitting the fender where the '13 fender had depressions for clearance. This caused the plate to be lifted up on the pins and the bolt hole not to line up with the one in the upper clamp without forcing it down. Cutting the corners off the plate is an easy fix if this is a problem.

I'm not Darkside, but it's pretty simple - the spacer shown is what the fastening bolt goes thru to get the necessary clearance for the computer. I believe the heat gun is used on the lower number plate extention so they are not pushing the plate up which would release the pins on the bottom of the plate.
