The 300 is just great, never thought I'd like a 300 as much as a 250 but this bike has changed me. No vibes and it doesn't get me tired like my KTM 300 did.

Same here, I was 4 stroke guy and am now firmly in the 2Stroke corner.

I wouldn't call it a beast because it's extremely easy to ride but I love my 430.
I'm still trying to get used to how low I can let the RPM drop climbing a hill and still roll on the throttle and have it still climbing. I think my KTM 450 would have spit and died.

Still, no 4stroke is going to pull as low as that 300 and not cough and die. I'm still amazed at how well it runs and doesn't ping or boil even with the rads covered in mud on a slick rocky uphill in 95 deg temps. Few bikes are that tolerant. Riding a big 4stroke in the tight woods here in summer heat and humidity is like sitting on a wood burning stove. :o
