Yeah I forgot about that little problem, but its no big deal. The fitting is soft enough that it can be bent slightly without breaking, just be careful.

Steve, I like the 10 deg Flexxbars, but I like a real straight bar. My favorite bar bend is one of the KTM SX bends from a few years back, real low and straight. 12 deg is still pretty straight, but more than that and my wrists bother me.

Are the stock bars low and straight?

Yes, perhaps only a few mm lower than my Flexxbars, with a hair more sweep, guess around 12 deg. Lower and straighter than the Twinwalls the newer GGs come with IMO. If I didn't have or plan to get Flexxbars I would have left them, they were not bad. The ergos of the bike seem to favor low bars, but then again so do I in general. If you have a set of apes from another bike, chances are they will feel too tall on the Beta.

Good, the bars will fit me then. And I like em rearward too.

There are three positions in the top clamp. They come in the center position which is directly over the fork center.

Six actually, although there may be a little bit of overlap. The bar mounts themselves are also eccentric. At 5'11" I run center/forward for hole/clamp orientation.
