Well - its mid June!? what's the word? I'm really hoping for some nice lightweight updates. I'd love to see a 7lbs loss or so, particularly on the race models.

It's June here but only late May in Italy

If you're looking for a seven pound drop buy a lithium battery and you're half way there.

The info is kicking about. I think the racing gets an add on-able oil injection kit. There was some other small stuff. I don't care I ain't buying one.

Already got the lightweight battery. And recently lost 10lbs. But if the Italian lost weight too that would be cool too. I am doing my part!! It could come with the LW battery from the factory on the Race model too.

Steve has got it right, lightweight battery and loosing weight as NZMarkb says will do most of the work.
But another 2 or 3 pounds from the factory would also be appreciated.
I think it will get there eventually.

seems the new Husky's and KTM's lost a good amount of weight too. I'd just like to see the BETA follow suit. Other than weight, I have very little to complain about, well besides the poor factory suspension valving.
