350rr tires? What's every body using And size?

So, looking at the comp 3's that I've hated on every bike I've ever bought and they came on.. What to get? Also on the 350, what size? It has a 140/80 on the back. That's a wide big tire. That's what I use on my 525. I always ran m59 fronts and various rears. Never really liked that many rear tires, used to run s12's until they changed and started chunking. I recently ran maxxis IT on my 525 and had great results in both the jersey sand and the rocks in pa. Last rear I've had, way too long is a motoZ mountain hybrid. Ran it at zero which once broken in it worked well. Not great but well. Forward was good, breaking was unpredictable, deep sand was shockingly great. Like Velcro. Thinking a 110/100 or 120/80 or something like that? Or stay with the 130/140 rear? And I have to add, I'm probably the one person who does not like the mt16.

IIRC, the 140/80 is Michelin's old sizing which is equivalent to the 120/80 in most other brands. The local woods shop and one of the blistering fast guys on a KadieM 350 run the 110/100 SC5 medium rears. HTH!

M59 front a no brainer. You don't like the MT16 because you lean so hard! :D Being your seeing road to the trail I'd try one of the desert options Tubliss. Air up/down as needed. That would be a decent setup for both life and traction. I have a Cheater thats got a few rides in it yet. Its yours if you want to try. You will be blown away by the traction and its what you want/need when you come to ride with us here.

Its funny, I leaned a lot back on the GG's and even a bit before. The 525 not as much. I think its a combination of motor and weight that keeps me from leaning that thing over. The beta 350, that thing feels like a 2 stroke. I can get down to dragging my knee almost on a few of the switchbacks on the broad mtn. The comp 3's don't hold well though,, came out of the turns at strange angles last weekend. I may very well go back to the maxxis it as it was great aired down and lasted forever. In fact I just looked, I still have the maxxis front on the ktm. Thats two hammer runs? Way too long. I put that on I think the maxxis was still on the back.

Well, I ended up with a set of Kenda washougal 2dc. A local fast guy has been using them with good results. He is also hard on the sides like me so usually we have the same results in tires. Mounted up the rear, fronts dismounted, but need a tube. The stock tubes are much better than I expected. Still going with UHD bridgestones but the stock tube may make it into my carry spares.

Rear decent, front horribly bad even in sand. I'll try them once in the rocks then most likely going either m59 front or maxxis front
