FYI I already contacted Emperor racing ( formerly Scorpion) as I have equipped my last 2 Gas Gas' with their protection parts including the rad frames. My wife's Yamaha also sports their stuff. really good quality and very stout. sorry to say though they have no plans on developing protection parts for Beta motorcycles.

I got the BYOB ones and I must say they aren't half bad not over the top stout but for their weight, which is fairly light, seem pretty good. They come with black rad louvers and for you racing edition owners they match all the anodized red bling. You do have to slightly move the regulator on the frame for clearance which means drilling a small hole.

Not wanting to add any holes in my frame I filed down the locate tab on the regulator [if that's what it is] and rotated it just enough to clear.

Thats a good idea anyway, as its pretty close to the upper tank of the right rad.

I emailed Emperor yesterday but that seals it Rev.

Beta Steve/Roscoe Thx, I'll go to the Beta site and look at their accessories. I'm enjoying these pioneering challenges and I'm curious about the Meca. If I was afraid of being different I wouldn't have bought a Beta.

But I think in just a few years we won't be seen as being different on these.

I think that EE is also working on stuff. What you can also do is measure up the rads and go down to the local KTM dealer. I wouldn't be surprised to find something that fits, maybe with minor mods. The rads are basically the size of GasGas rads, but with a slightly different hole spacing. In fact, you could probably take a set of Scorpion GG rad braces and redrill the frame side mount holes, shroud mount holes, and they would work. Then the grills go on easy.

I wonder why they list it on their site

Are these rad braces or are they just guards? I use Meca System braces but they don't have front guards and the Beta plastic ones are not strong and mine have cracked. They also rattle badly which I find very distracting when riding so I have put old chain O rings over the locating pegs which helps.

Would they fit as well as braces?

I haven't measured them but I thought that the RR rads were the same as on the RFS engine KTMs and Betas.

I like the looks of those and sounds like you've "tested" them. And I can tell my wife and friends their from France! Checking on a U.S. distributor. Thanks

Did you find a US distributor for Meca?
