Called the U.S. dist, Rally something... No joy. Hubert gave me his UK Dist, but my company has a vendor outside Paris. My Meca rad guards will be In the vendors next parts shipment to us next week. Hubert says they bolt right up. Sounds like a PIA to get but I thot it was fun. Wish I had them for tomorrow's ride but I'll just have to be careful. Read favorable reviews and Hubert was impressed so found a way to get them. If I didn't have the French Connection I'd have ordered from UK. Cheaper. I figure they'll be a conversation piece. I love this phase setting up a new bike.

A couple pics of the BYOB guards installed on my 300. Pretty nice, they features 2 crossbars front and back offset and out of the way in front for optimal air flow and no fuss louver mounting and comes with the black louvers as part of the kit. They do not flair out the shrouds at all and add a bit more bling while doing their job.

Just to whet your appetite whilst you are waiting for the MecaSystem guards to arrive, here are a few shots of them fitted to mine.

Incidentally, I went to the 2nd round of Paul Edmondson's "Eddy Extreme" championship yesterday and there was an encouraging number of Betas on the start line. Mostly 4Ts amongst the Clubman racers and 300 2Ts in the Pro class. There were very few modifications to the bikes overall but the majority of the 2Ts had the MecaSystem guards. Most of the sponsored riders are supposed to be putting alternative internals in the Sachs forks as they are not up to the job.

This video was from the 1st round in January as a taster http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3ZNSmO5f0w.

Those EE rad guards look strong with the one piece wide bracing in the rear. These weren't available when I was equipping my bike.

Unabiker just made up new 2 stroke guards. Beta is using them for the ISDE. I got the first pair for civilians on the way.
