I second the Seat Concepts foam and gripper cover. U don't sink down like a Guts soft foam at all, and yet it's much more comfortable for those longer rides. U can still move front to rear easily too. I'm impressed with the gripper material. It really holds U in place when crawling those steep rocky, rooty trails.

I took one look at the seat before I bought the Beta and I knew I'd want a new seat for sure but when I got my 13' 300rr the seat wasn't that bad at all. Even so I ordered the seat concepts soft high seat.. Well it sure is higher.. It looks like a muffin in back but it feels more of a medium tension as far as the foam is but it's actually excellent. I'm 6'1" so the seat works well. It's higher but not ridiculously so and I'm happy I got it. I think that now you might be able to buy the seat concepts seat complete..but please check on that but I had to buy just the cover and seat foam when I got mine. The quality is excellent and the grip is great but not too much.. The shape of the seat makes for good transitions ..for me at least. I'm very happy with it. Here's a little vid of it.

Let us know how U like it. The quality is excellent. They now make a seat for my FZ1 with good reviews, so I'll probly have one of those in the near future.

Got my complete seat from seat concepts Monday, got to try it out today. OMG this thing is nice, had a mudder and spent a lot of time sitting. It puts you right up front and supper easy to move around on, don't know if ill ever use stock seat again. If you want to spend some money on something that works and makes riding so much more enjoyable this is it.

I currently have 4 bikes and I find I use different riding shorts for different bikes. I'm finding using my bicycle shorts (High quality with a multi layer system) works well with the Beta seat. I actually figured this out when I put a firm GUTS on my 2011 GASGAS. I'll be doing a 5 day ride in Colorado soon so we'll see if I have a good solution :D .
