So far, so good. Engineering, fit, and finish noticeable better than my 2016 350 RR. Motor very good, not quite as much low end as my GG 300 but runs cleaner throughout the rev range. Only issues so far is pipe fit, it contacts frame down tube and radiator hose. Wrapped radiator hose with header wrap, not sure what I'll do for the down tube contact. Suspension has loosened up but still a little stiff for all rock riding.

One other thing to note: I did the normal bolt checking tightening after about 6 hours. The only bolt I couldn't easily get to was the lower right power valve cover. I didn't want to remove the pipe and thought it would be OK. Well of course after a 65 mile ride I noticed the area around it was covered in spooge and the bolt was partly backed out! Don't be lazy like I was, remove the pipe and check it!

Thanks for sharing. I have a 2016 300rr race. Upgrade won't be for a few years yet, but good to hear about the new ones. No adjustment can be made through the exhaust brackets?

What are your thoughts on the rear shock?

Rear shock so far is "OK". Since it is now broken in I'm just now starting to back off compression to try to decrease harshness.

Pipe-left downtube interference can’t be adjusted out. I’ll either have to dent the pipe or bend it.

I felt like the harshness was from too much hi-speed damping, backing the clicker all the way out didn't help. I couldn't tell that the clickers did anything. I finally sent it Aaron @AMP. He revalved it and added the Lanier Compression Assembly. It made an amazing difference, the clickers actually work now and no more jack hammering my back on the sharp edged rocks and pot holes.
BTW mine is a 2021 300 race.

The gold sachs on my 2015 was pretty decent in stock form after I got it sprung right.

Update at 25 hours. I really like the map switch, makes a very noticeable difference. I mainly use rain mode in boulder fields in first and second gear, sun mode the rest of the time.

I think the fork will be OK, I've got the fork compression at 17 clicks and rebound at 12. It doesn't deflect, isn't harsh, and rarely bottoms. The shock is another story, backing off hi and lo compression helps but it's still harsh.

Replaced stock tires with shinko fatty on the front with 12 psi and Motoz hybrid gummy on the rear at 8psi, both with Tubliss. Both are working well in the rocks.

Dropped a tooth on the counter shaft sprocket to 13, will probably also go to 51t on the rear.

Ok, last update on this "new bike" topic since I just did all the 30 hr maintenance at 31.5 hrs, had the typical couple of crashes, and the bike is no longer new. Things that needed tightening:
- About a third of the spokes, quarter to half turn
- Front and bottom engine mount bolts
- Radiator hose clamps, one was just barely seeping coolant

All other fasteners were fine. No other issues.

My opinion of the suspension has steadily risen with the number of riding hours. I'd now say it's a solid B+ for the type of riding I've been doing. I've never had a bike with such good bottoming resistance, lack of deflection.
