Thinking of getting a RR 200 as my next bike

Hi all,
I am a 43 years old rider and right now I have a 2019 RR 300 Factory, I got this bike new and I was and am very satisfied with it, lots of low end torque and great power, most of the time I do not get it into the power band as I most ride slow technical stuff...

Before that bike I had and Husky WR 300, before that a Yamaha WR 480F and a GasGas EC300 as my first bike... You see, all big bores with lots of power.

I started seeing lots of youtube videos regarding the RR200 race model with KYB suspensions and I got somewhat horny about this idea. I already tried a normal RR 200 (I think it was an 2020 or 2021 model) for a short ride (10 min) and I found it pretty good, still decent low end for a 200...

I am right now recovering from a knee injury, I had my ACL reconstruction and Meniscal suture surgery two weeks ago and I am planning to sell my actual RR300 as I will need about 6 month of recovery before riding again. My actual idea if recovery is successful is to get a new 2025 RR200 race edition and try a small bore bike for real. With my history of previous bikes I am very much used to torque and not revving up the bikes much, so I guess I will need quite some time to adapt to the more rev-wanting 200.

Any opinions on that ? Did you also move from a bigger 300 to the 200 and was it the right decision for you ?

Thanks and cheers !

The Beta 200's are not wide ratio transmission, they are vary similar to 125MX bikes.

If you intend to do a few dual sports, 50 mph is pretty wound up to run constantly, and it already has a 15 tooth SC sprocket.

And the clutch is no where near the performance or longevity or easy pull of the current DDS clutch bigger Beta's.

Ride one fist.
