They look similar to last year with the red and blue, but have the red rear fender and graphic style similar to the 2015 standard edition. The red rim decals look good, something I always do to my bikes anyway to accent and protect the black rims.

Updated specs after a more in-depth review. Floating front rotor is new for Race Edition bikes, and the 4Ts get some racing department inspired frame gusseting.

Overall a bit of a yawner. Not much to get excited about over the 14' Race Edition.

A real missed opportunity. Last year's bikes had real improvements to pass on to the 2015 standard models.

This year, a floating disc and some bling... Whoopee!

Very disappointed as I was hoping for proper suspension front and back. The main UK Dirt Bike show is next week and I shall be on the Yamaha stand first.

The only reason I would want a race over a standard is for the Marzocchi forks. the upcost is worth the forks alone. everything else is just bling.

A floating disk and some bling ... Whoopee? Proper suspension?

You need to get out more. $600 upcharge for this over the standard RR qualifies as the deal of the century. It did in '13, it did in '14, and with the addition of the floating disk it certainly does in '15.

Agreed. They still represent great value. I was just hoping there would have been some other innovations.
