Found one at advanced auto. Not the best but it works for small values

I found a good one at a pawn shop a couple years ago. It's a MAC 3/8 drive and 100 foot lbs max. So it will still do 10 to 20 lbs accurately and also do the rear axle torque. Still cost a hundred bucks. If you go into a pawn shop and they have numerous ones for sale, that's when they'll deal.

Thanks a lot. Definitely more resemblance to a dirtbike (contrary to original BETA chart, which resembles the one for Russian T-34 tank from WW2).

Triple clamp values seem too small, do you have issues with front end twisting all the time at smaller drops/crashes?

My clamps list values for the triple clamps at 17nm for uppers and 12nm for lowers. Right on the clamps.

those 75 NM on the swingarm and rear axle are tuff ones to hit!

Thanks for this Torque Table. I am finding some major discrepancies on the rear axle torque. I hope someone has some good solid info on this. My manual for my 2018 Beta 300 RR shows 130 Nm. In this manual (http://www.betausa.com/sites/default/fi ... manual.pdf) for my 2008 Beta 450 RS, which is the same design axle and nut, it shows 90 Nm. And in the torque table from this post, it shows only 75 Nm! What is going on here? I hope I didn't damage my new bike, because I DID torque my rear axle nut to 130Nm like the manual shows.

If you are looking for the most accurate instruments then check out "Precision Instruments" dial type torque wrenches. I own both Snap-On and Precision Instruments. I work in Aerospace, specifically building Satellites and we use these. Also, I previously worked in a PMEL lab that calibrated equipment on an Air Force base and we calibrated lots of different brands and styles of wrenches. Precision Instruments brand is what we use in our labs now and some of the dial type are rated to 1% Accuracy!!! I have seen no better-

They make a 0-10 Nm dial type w/1% accuracy (20% to full scale)!
They make a 0-75 Nm dial type w/2% accuracy (20% to full scale)
Also, a 50-250 Nm dial type w/2% accuracy (20% to full scale)

I own all three and these take care off the Beta torque tables well.

Remember, do not use the lower 20% range of any brand wrench as this area cannot be guaranteed for accuracy. This is why it takes more than one wrench to insure exact torque is being applied to a wide range of numerical values found throughout the bikes build.
