Just a heads up to those that are doing their own maintenance. I removed the swing arm to re-grease the bearings and install a heavier spring. I flattened the threads on the swing arm bolt when I re-installed it. The bolt is some aluminum alloy and, as such, the threads are fragile. I didn't exactly beat the bolt into place, but obviously didn't take the care I should have when re-installing the bolt.
be warned, the bolt is rather pricey so use caution and ensure the holes are aligned BEFORE you tap the bolt into place. Now I have an expensive swing arm bolt alignment punch...

I never had a problem with my '05 Rev3 but obviously Beta decided to save a few ounces and use a softer alloy in the pivot bolt.
