I find it nice to see where someone lives along with the screen name.
If they are selling something you know if shipping will be required before you reply to the post but most important is to find who your neighbors are.

I just went into my profile and set my location and it does appear off the to the right under my user name.

I used my "superpowers" to set your location according to your IP address - you may need to correct it - but it will make it easy to see in your profile and modify it...

Click on "User Control Panel" and then hit the "Profile" tab and you will see it... You will also be able to set up your avatar and your signature to customize your profile.
