I think that is the new shorty design. I have two of the shorty spark arrestors on order (one for me and one for Deputy Greg's bike). They are suppose to boost mid-high range. Maybe the new Race model comes with it this year?

Hey guys, yep this is the new FMF Short Q Spark arrestor installed on my bike. I ordered all my additional parts from my dealer and they were dropped shipped to my house in a couple days. being fairly close to Cali makes for fast parts delivery. I'm liking that perk.

2014 Racing Editions come with the 17" long silencer (aka Q Stealth can). The shorty Q Stealth S/A chops 3 inches off total length.

Like Steve I cut my stock can down 3 inches so it looks the same but of course no SA. I can't tell any difference in power, and its barely louder. Much less prone to endcap damage and leverage on the subframe, which for me was the reason to do it. They should just make the shorter can OEM.

Agreed. If U ever get the time, I would love to see a step by step with photos on how to cut my S/A Q Stealth down. May be when it's time to do a repack? I wonder if the new shorty s/a has different parts?

Nice Marco. I know, outside is more suited for sled pics! I have that same lift in your pic, easy on the back. Do you have rad and pipe protection to go on?
