First ride today after injury. Zero confidence in the bike :( and just plain scared to ride. Rode 15 miles and called it a day.

Send your suspension to Stillwell. Set sag to 105 mm. Raise your forks to the second line. Install Tubliss front and rear. Run a Bridgestone M59 on the front at 7 PSI. Dunlop AT81 Desert RC on the rear at 2 PSI.

That sucks Armin. Grade separation? You need surgery?

ks9mm,

Don't rush back, I'd be very surprised if that clavicle is good enough to take a hit. 6 weeks min with a bone graft from your Tibia and morphegenic protein, Texas style. If you didn't get that, longer for sure.
Gun shy is normal. I was off the bike for 14 months and three clavicle surgeries. It will come back naturally, don't push it. JMO but I'd be training as hard as possible to get back what I lost in the downtime, and to maximize blood flow and healing. On the bike in the woods is not the best place to rehab this injury.

thanks Glenn!

I am very careful and taking it easy.. bone feels pretty good actually everywhere, but tugging on the bars to jump over log or something. of course its not 100% strong yet, and I am riding with that in mind. just slow and careful trail ride. any crashes now will surely land me back in the ER.

i wanted to go to the HS today, but decided not to...I also started bicycle training.. just to get blood flowing and all.
