yeesh, went a bit silly with video editing lately and got a few to post.

Warm up routines and forgetting stuff: https://youtu.be/QM7R6l9aEjY
not a training vid as such, just the usual blathering on about stuff... in this case the idea of a set warm up routine to do while the bike is warming up.

Ridiculous riding skills by Graham Jarvis: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-vMsAVjaoY
got permission from graham to do a mash of the vids he posts to facebook. crap quality vids, epic riding skills as usual.

this is probably the most common and useful way to get over a log at a reasonable pace. if you only learn one technique this is the one you want.

this is the easiest and safest way to get over big logs until you feel ready for the more advanced techniques.

Also seems like the best bet when the log is wet, slick, off camber, etc. where there is no traction to apply power. Also when the other side is not clean enough for a faster landing. More often than not that's how it is here. How about a greasy log video? Good work!

interesting suggestion glenn except we completely suck on wet greasy logs, as per the latest ride vid below. there were four logs all about a bike length apart and at oblique angles too. i probably would have flattened the gopro battery filming it all given how long it took us to get over them.

America's colonialist past, the USA gumby vs the British gumby, global warming and an old tool kit... possibly our most pointless rambling video yet. In fact I don't think there's a single bit of technique in this vid and should probably be reported to the moderators as a huge waste of time. :)

part 5 from the 10 part log hop series... handy little trials technique for when you mess up a log hop and the bike is just resting on the skidplate... this way the bike does all of the hard work instead of you which is handy if you are a lazy sod like us. :)

finally girded our loins (e.g. put on some diapers) and tackled big red... ridden past it plenty of times in much fear and trepidation, it was finally time to make the hill climb.
